Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed that Iran’s sound policy of supporting Syria has been based on a strategic vision rather than a tactical move.
“Syrian President Bashar Assad has an important role in the fight against terrorism and protecting Syria's national unity, and Syrian people and army have given a crushing response to terrorism,” Iranian diplomat told reporters.
He reiterated that repeating the wrong military and security tactics in Syria was a strategic mistake which violated the rights of Syrian nation.
